Encouraged by CEO Mr. Essam Fakhriddin, members of ATICO Fakhreldin Group joined Amman Rotary Club Capital, to participate in their initiative “Help Keep Jordan Clean”. The team also supported the event by bringing along meals forapproximately 350 participants. The Amman Rotary Club Capital launched the second stage of the campaign by cleaning up the beaches of the Dead Sea, on Sunday the 27th of March at 10am. The meeting points for all participants were at various areas and times. All partakers and media personnel met at either 8.30am at the Palm Village, on the airport road or at 9.30am at Chili Ways before the Dead Sea security check point, before the hotel and conference center. The initiative was launched as the President of The Rotary International (a very prominent figure) visited Jordan. Its main aim is to support the community and to instill the culture of volunteer work. The campaign also proposes to increase the awareness of working to support tourism and preserve the environment, between both the private and public sectors. It is worth mentioning that the area chosen is one of the popular public areas were holiday seekers spend their weekends and it witnesses a large amount of environmentally hazardous waste. The invitation was open to everyone and transport from Amman to the Dead Sea and back was provided on the day.
