Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef Baker with expertise in both Arabic and international baking. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pastry and bread-making, innovative in recipe development, and able to maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing the production of a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts, while ensuring adherence to recipes and specifications.
- Incorporating traditional Arabic flavors and techniques into baked goods, as well as experimenting with international flavors and trends.
- Overseeing all aspects of the baking process, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking.
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed to maintain production efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Training and supervising junior staff members to maintain quality and consistency in production.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef Baker in a bakery setting, with a focus on both Arabic and international baking.
- Extensive knowledge of Arabic pastry and bread-making techniques and ingredients.
- Familiarity with international baking styles and trends, including French, Italian, and American.
- Creativity and innovation in recipe development and presentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institute is preferred.
