ATICO Rejoins the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in its fight against Cancer, 2007

AMMAN – ATICO Fakhreldin Group continues to support the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) in its fight against cancer, by renewing its contract and becoming a member of KHCF’s ‘Restaurants Care Program’ until this day. ATICO outlets had previously joined the program in January 2006. As supporters of the program, ATICO helped connect the King Hussein Cancer Foundation with its clientele, by inviting their customers to add an optional JD 1 to their bill. Since ATICO’s outlets joined the RCP, it has successfully been able to accumulate a considerable donation of JD 30,000.
Ms. Abeer Fakhriddin, Marketing & Public Relations Manager of ATICO, visited the King Hussein Cancer Center on January 23rd, 2007, to ascertain the progress and achievements of the Center. HRH Princess Dina Mired, Director General of the Foundation, thanked ATICO outlets on behalf of the patients and acknowledged its decision to rejoin the program, which facilitates a link between conscious ATICO customers and the KHCF. HRH Princess Dina, also expressed her appreciation for the generosity of ATICO customers, adding that every JD raised makes a difference to the patients, who are currently undergoing various treatments at the Center.
Ms. Abeer Fakhriddin added: “It is with great pleasure that we at ATICO have an opportunity to be affiliated with the KHCF and the RCP, which has truly been a success. It has been a fruitful attempt which was both welcomed and supported by our loyal customers. As an expression of ATICO’s vision in developing its social awareness, we aim to pursue as many local benefit programs as possible.”
Princess Dina Mired said: “We know that there are so many people who wish to join the fight against cancer but do not know how. This is why the Restaurants Care Program is a win-win situation. Donors are given a convenient method, the Restaurants play the role of contributing corporations, and the Foundation collects the needed funds to continue its fight against cancer”.
