We are looking for a passionate and aspiring Commis to join our culinary team . The Commis will work closely with our experienced chefs to learn and contribute to the preparation of exceptional dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items.
- Ensure all ingredients are measured, properly cut, and ready for use.
- Follow established recipes and guidelines for food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with senior kitchen staff to learn and enhance culinary skills.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Culinary school degree or relevant culinary training.
- Previous experience as a Commis or in a similar role is a plus.
- Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to take direction.
