The Qyard was buzzing with all of our team! The event took place on the 22nd of October, between 4.00pm - 7.00pm. Our COO, Mr. Azzam Fakhriddin shared a few inspirational words with everyone and there was lots of entertainment as well! Talented members performed, games were played, prizes were won, and of course lots of delicious food was offered! It was a jolly and harmonious event, one big family get together!

ATICO Fakhreldin Group was recognized during a festive night at SANA's annual fund raising event. ATICO Fakhreldin Group supports the Employment Program, at SANA, by employing Mr. Rami Jaffar. The program aims to facilitate employment opportunities for young adults with special needs. SANA, also aims to increase the workforce awareness in order to press the rights of the special needs within our local communities. SANA is a non-governmental organization aimed at helping individuals with intellectual challenges in our communities, leading to better lives. SANA works to provide individuals with special needs the opportunity to be active and influentialmembers within their communities. .

Our Urban Gardens

We’re moving forward with our new organic garden! The pilot project began mid October, at Fakhr El Din Restaurant, 1st Circle, where beds of seeds were planted. The Chef and our dedicated gardeners bought together the concept of sustainable gardening. Fakhr El Din has also introduced composting, to enhance its waste management methods and eliminate the use of pesticides and fertilizers. The Chef Garden, at ATICO Fakhreldin Group Head Offices, Shmeisani, is also well underway, where by acombination of seeds were planted. On a larger scale, the Fakhriddin Familyfarm continues to utilize its space, to incorporate a sustainable concept as well, with an array of seasonal crops.

HORECAJo 2016

ATICO Fakhreldin Group participated in three live competitions (Japanese, Asian and Italian) at the HORECAJo 2016, which had a prestigious panel of International Chefs sitting as judges, including Mr. Gugler, President of the World Association of Chefs Societies. The participants were Chef Naethan Abalso from Vinaigrette, who won a silver medal for the Japanese competition. Chef Fares, from Trattoria, who won a bronze medal for the Italian competition and last but not least Chef Angelito Sanjol from Ren Chai, who won a bronze medal for the Asian competition. ATICO Fakhreldin Group was very proud and delighted by the performance of the chefs and decided to hold a well-deserved celebration in their honor. Many of their colleagues participated in congratulating them and they all joined in the festivities. HORECAJO, is the 3rd International trade show for hotels, restaurants, catering, food and hospitality, held this year at the Zara Expo Center on 8th – 10th of October, 2016. .
