Mr. Rabee Tadros is a Senior Bartender at Copas Central, which is nestled away in the old neighborhood of the first circle of Amman. Copas Central enjoys a unique atmosphere with a Latin inspired warm and laid-back feel to it with funky and hip music. The large bar, where Rabee’ is busy behind, offers fresh and creative cocktails and many Latin inspired drinks. The varied Mediterranean tapas menu has tasty, colorful and delicious ingredients as diverse as the culture itself. The terrace is open during fair weather and is decorated by a huge pomelo tree and a quaint seating area. Allow us to congratulate you first! What do you say about your new title “Star of the Year 2018”?
I was really so thrilled humbled and happy, I guess I need a life time to express how I really felt knowing that I got this amazingly nice title. It’s great motivation for me to focus and achieve more.

What is the most complicated drink you’ve had to make?
To be honest there’s nothing called a complicated drink, if you love what you’re doing then I guess you know everything.
Give examples of ideas you’ve had or implemented.
I created this idea although it’s already used. But we don’t have the machine for it. I named it ‘SMoKING’. I use a torch and herbs for the smoke, and 2 tipped over glasses to obtain the smoke.
What advise would you give new Barmen in Jordan?
- 1- Don’t wait for anyone to teach you how to do it
- 2- Try to use the Internet, YouTube, explore…
- 3- Prove to everyone that you can work under pressure as a barman, since it’s not that easy to handle.
