On Tuesday 14th of December, The President of the Jordanian Tourist Restaurant Association, and CEO of ATICO Fakhreldin Group, Mr. Essam Fakhriddin, accompanied by a number of members of the Board of Directors, met with the Director General of the Food and Drug Administration, Proffesor Dr. Nizar Mahmoud Mhaidat. During the meeting, many issues where discussed, including ascpects related to tourist restaurants and food. The most important of which is the issue of the control and inspection operations for restaurants, in addition to the issue of “safety procedures and requirements”, including the list of foodstuffs that are prepared inside restaurants, as well as the issue of licenses imposed on some food industries such as shawarma, sushi and freezing companies.
At the end of the meeting, the president of the association, Mr. Essam Fakhriddin, President of the Association, and the rest of the members, valued the great cooperation presented by His Excellency Dr. Nizar Mhaidat, in order to find quick and logical solutions to overcome the challenges and obstabcles facing tourist restaurants and food-related businesses. A mutal agreement confirmed that the two parties would support the tourist restaurant sector and in return a confirmation to provide safe and secure food was made.
