The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Mr. Makram Al-Qaisi, honored 5 Jordanian restaurants that won the MENA 50 Best Restaurants award, held at the Ministry’s headquarters on 13th June, 2023. Minister Al-Qaisi commented during the honoring ceremony that the victory of 5 Jordanian restaurants in this competition, which is considered one of the most important international competitions, is a great achievement for the Jordanian restaurant sector, and reflects the culture and identity of the Jordanian people.
COO of ATICO Fakhreldin Group and head of the Tourist Restaurants Association, Mr. Essam Fakhriddin, appreciated this token of appreciation from the Ministry; “This celebratory gesture from the Ministry is on its own another award for all of us. The Jordanian cuisine is considered one of the most important cuisines in the world, according to the testimony of visitors from all over the world.” Mr. Fakhriddin stressed that, “the Jordanian cuisine has great history”, while urging that, “all restaurants must work hard to build on it, in addition to support and encourage all young and promising youth working in the sector.”
It is noteworthy that within the list of winners of MENA 50 Best Restaurants awards Fakhreldin Restaurant ranked eighth.
